Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling, visually appealing, and informative videos that align with the channel's content strategy. You will be responsible for delivering polished videos that maintain high production value and meet our brand standards.
Storytelling:
Understand the essence of each video's story and translate it into a cohesive narrative through effective editing techniques, transitions, and audio-visual synchronization.
Content Enhancement:
Enhance video content by adding appropriate background music, sound effects, graphics, text overlays, and animations to elevate the overall viewing experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to understand the creative vision for each video and collaborate effectively to execute that vision.
Video Optimization:
Optimize videos for YouTube, ensuring they meet platform guidelines and best practices to maximize visibility, engagement, and audience retention.
Feedback and Iteration:
Actively participate in feedback sessions, incorporating suggestions and improvements into the final video edits.
Stay Up-to-date:
Keep abreast of the latest trends, editing techniques, and software advancements in video editing and motion graphics to continually improve the quality of our content.
Requirements:
Experience:
Proven work experience as a YT Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity in video editing and motion graphics.
Proficiency:
Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
Creative Eye:
Strong storytelling abilities and a keen eye for detail to create visually appealing and engaging videos.
Technical Skills:
Ability to edit videos, add visual effects, apply color correction, and optimize audio to deliver professional-quality content.
Time Management:
Efficiently manage project timelines and deliver edited videos within deadlines.
