Job Description:
Country Manager - India
As the Country Manager for India at 10BestInCity.com, you will play a pivotal role in leading and growing our presence in the Indian market. You will be responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy for India, managing a team, and ensuring the successful expansion of our platform in the country.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for India, including market analysis, growth opportunities, and competitive positioning.
Build and lead a high-performing team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, partners, and government entities.
Drive user acquisition and engagement through effective marketing and promotional campaigns.
Monitor and analyze market trends, user feedback, and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.
Ensure the platform's content is localized and culturally relevant for the Indian market.
Collaborate with the global leadership team to align India's strategy with the company's overall objectives.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in the tech or e-commerce industry.
Strong understanding of the Indian market and consumer behavior.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.
Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional Indian languages is a plus.
City Heads - Worldwide
As the City Head for Worldwide Operations at 10BestInCity.com, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of our city-based teams across the globe. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent quality and performance across all cities, setting best practices, and driving innovation in the way we curate and deliver city-specific content.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with City Managers in various cities to ensure alignment with the company's mission and standards.
Establish and communicate best practices for content curation, quality assurance, and user engagement.
Monitor and report on city-specific performance metrics and KPIs.
Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in our city-based content and services.
Work closely with the global leadership team to share insights, trends, and recommendations.
Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing among city teams.
Occasional travel may be required to visit city offices and teams.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience in a leadership or management role, with a track record of driving operational excellence.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed and multicultural environment.
Passion for travel and exploring new cities is a plus.
